
A mailing list is a service which
sends you information via e-mail. Messages
sent to that mailing list are then delivered to your e-mail address.
To
subscribe to a list:
1. Click on a list name. This
will take you to a page where you can submit your e-mail address and
create a password for your subscription. A message asking for confirmation
of your subscription request will then be sent to your e-mail account.
2. When
you receive the automatic message, simply send a reply back
without changing either the body of the message or the subject line.
This step helps prevent anyone else from subscribing you without your
permission.
To stop receiving mail from a mailing list, to
change your password, or get a reminder of your password, click on
a list name link. At the bottom of the page, under the Subscribers
heading, enter your subscription email address. This will take you
your Options page that allows you to manage your subscriber account.
